Wood Species - Honey Locust is native to central North America, however has been introduced worldwide. This particular cut is from a burl, which is an abnormal growth on a tree that creates wild, swirling grain patterns. Burl wood can be harvested without damaging or felling the tree.
Pen Kit - Accord pen with chrome plating. Accord pens are known for their quality plating, impressive weight and incredible feel. It is the perfect kit for someone who appreciates a single barrel look but prefers the thickness and weight of a cigar pen. As these kits are no longer manufactured, they will be increasingly hard to find.
Finish - High gloss, using 20+ coats of cyanoacrylate sanded down to 12,000 grit, creating an impressive shine as well as incredible durability.
