Spalted Cherry Cigar Pen

Unique and incredibly spalted Cherry on a cigar pen kit!  Matte finish.

Wood Species - Cherry wood is native to The northeast US but can be found in other regions.  Spalting is the result of fungi generally found in dead trees or trees under distress. 

Pen Kit - Cigar pen with black chrome plating.  Cigar pens are very popular and known for their weight, thickness and overall bravado.

Finish - Matte finish, using 10+ coats of a mix of walnut oil, shellac polish and microcrystalline wax after sanding down to 600 grit.  This finish produces a matte shine while maintaining the natural wood feel.
